Here's the latest news...

I've honored to have just been given a "Members Spotlight" by The Songwriters Guild of America.

I received my fifth consecutive honorable mention in the 15th Annual Billboard World Songwriting Contest for my song "I Gotta Find Me Something". The song placed in the top 500 entries in the contest.

Tom and I recently wrote and recorded the music for a National TV and radio advertising campaign for Plato's Closet. To hear a sample of our track, visit www.platoscloset.com, scroll down the homepage and click on "play music".

We've made a number of updates to the site - new photos, MP3's and a new store that will securely take credit cards and Paypal for the purchase of my CD's. I encourage you to scroll through all the pages of the site to check out all the cool, new updates!

I scored the music for a short film entitled "Taken" written and directed by Jennifer Williams. The film was accepted into the 2007 STIFF (Seattle Truly Independent Film Fest) and the Austin Woman's Music, Literary and Film Festival. I'll be writing music for Jennifer's next film this Fall.

I'm proud to be a founding member of Lez Zeppelin, the all girl, all Led Zeppelin tribute band, playing bass, keys and mandolin, along with Sarah McLellan on vocals, Steph Paynes on guitar and Helen Destroy on drums. My sister Lori and I did a special encore performance of "Vickie & Nickie's Sizzlin' Summer Spectacular!" at Don't Tell Mama on August 27. We first performed the show there in June to a sold out house. We also performed our "Vickie & Nickie" act at a MAC (Manattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs) New Faces Showcase at Don't Tell Mama in March and also made a special appearance in Danny Leary's musical-comedy-variety show "On The Rocks" at The Duplex in May. We'll be back to do "On The Rocks" at the Duplex in December.
